I'm dead tired and only writing as this is the centennial of the Great San Francisco Earthquake and Fire of 1906. Funny, when I was little, I never even conceived that there'd be a centennial. And stupid me didn't haul up to SF to watch it. Next year!

The documentary last night showed actual burning footage taken from close proximity. That was the only film that looked like 1900s filmstock. Most of the rest was of surprisingly good quality. I was impressed.
